Hair by Mathea all started when my mom taught me how to braid at the age of 8. Ever since then I knew my dream was to work in hairstyling.
I got my cosmetology license in high school so I could graduate and begin working my dream job right away. I have now been doing Luxury Bridal Hair + Makeup for 10 years and worked with top agents in LA and Seattle. I also work in the salon during the week specializing in extensions + blonding.
I strive to take care of every detail for your dream look on your big day. You deserve to be pampered, and Hair by Mathea strives to pamper you and provide the perfect wedding day experience.

I am a 4 times published, Gold PRO, Award Winning Luxury Hair and Makeup Artist. I am also Hair Extension Master Certified.

I scheduled with Mathea about a month and a half before my small, intimate June wedding and I am so glad I did! She was very responsive when contacted and flexible about traveling. She walked in the day of the wedding as a calming presence that helped make the morning perfect. She styled my hair as well as that of my wedding party and we all loved the results (a mix of fully up and half up styles). Our hair held even through a rainy day!
